NEWS FOR 2008

Our Beautiful Five Bedroom Cabin # 11 is OPEN YEAR ROUND. 

Now you can book our newest (built in 2004) and largest cabin (2048 sf and 5 bedrooms)....Cabin # 11......during the off season (October through April) for just $199 per night (3 night minimum stay)....or just $999 for a Week!!

Improvements in 2007 and 2008 include New Log Siding and new or rebuilt roofs to Eight Cabins, the Fish Cleaning House and the Bait Shack.  Electrical upgrades include Air Conditioning to all Cabins, GFI's in the Cabins and more electrical outlets by the docks.  Instead of just local TV channels, our 2008 guests will enjoy over 50 channels, which include WGN (Cubs Games!)...the NFL Network...and the Big Ten Network.  

There's a new refrigerator in Cabin # 1.  New shower plumbing in Cabin # 2.  New floor, walls and ceiling in the north bedroom of Cabin # 8.  New shower in Cabin # 8.  We distributed 16 new bed spreads throughout the resort.  Enjoy the new carpet in the gift shop, which doubles as a game room...new for 2008...a putting green with automatic ball return!  Our heated outdoor swimming pool (open Memorial Day to Labor Day, weather permitting)...received a new pump and motor.  And beginning in May...first-time published quality color depth maps of Big Wolf Lake and Lake Andrusia, as well as Cass Lake, will be sold at the Lodge at Oak Haven Resort. 

GUESTS WHO RENT OUR FISHING BOATS in 2008 will be pleased to see that all four boats are now equipped with a Brand New 28 pound Rubber Coated Self Release Navy Anchor, and a Brand New 50 foot Stearns Solid Braid "Easy on the Hands" Anchor Rope!  Show Mother Nature who's boss and anchor up on those hot fishing spots!!  All four Oak Haven rental boats have Mercury outboard motors with Electric Start.  All have an electric trolling motor, bilge pump, fish locator and livewell.  New Heavier Anchors means better fishing results in 2008!!

WE ARE PROUD TO OFFER YOU A CLEAN RESORT.  We are a No Pets Resort.  This means a clean bed, clean furniture, free of pet stains, hair and odors.  We are a No Littering Resort.  You won't find Cigarette Butts or trash on our property.  We are a No Profanity Resort (we only seek common sense and mature behavior) we ask our Guests to be respectful of other Guests.  These policies increased our bookings in 2008 and we hope you will join us in 2009.  Thank You!  ENJOY Oak Haven Resort!
