All of our Cabins are available to rent from Saturday, May 15 until Saturday, October 2, 2010.  Big Cabin # 11 is the only cabin available to rent year round. 

OPENING WEEK WALLEYES.....Nine of our Eleven Cabins are booked for Opening Week....May 15-22, 2010.  We have TWO cabins remaining for Opening Week (and you can come in on Friday the 14th!).....Cabin #6 is for one adult, or a couple, or maybe an adult and a kid.  It has one full size bed, a screened-in porch, AC, Full Bathroom and new log siding.  Cabin # 7 is a 2-bedroom...it has two full size beds and a hide-a-bed.  Cabin # 7 has a 3/4 bath, AC and new log siding.  Call now and lets talk about getting you in one of those cabins at a very nice price. PLEASE...don't arrive before 4:00 PM as we are busy with chores. (Especially June, July and August)WE MAY MAKE SOME EXCEPTIONS, BUT ONLY IN MAY AND IN THE FALL. 

DUE TO BEETLE MIGRATION CONTROL, NO FIREWOOD MAY BE BROUGHT INTO THIS RESORT.
FIREWOOD WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON SITE.  ORDER FIREWOOD AT THE LODGE BY 6:00 PM FOR SAME DAY DELIVERY.

DAILY RATE AND MINIMUM STAY

• Daily rate is 1/5 of the weekly rate.
• Memorial Day thru Labor Day, minimum stay of 7 nights required, 3 night minimum all other times.
• Some exceptions may be made.

DEPOSITS

*  We require a deposit of 50% of your projected invoice total.

ALL deposits to be paid within 2 weeks of making your reservation, by Cash, Check, Master Card or Visa. Refund with 90 day advance notice of cancellation only if your cabin is re-rented, less a $50 service charge per deposit.  Less than a 90 day notice on cancellations - no refunds.

PAYMENT OF BALANCE

Customer is responsible for entire term of reservation upon arrival.
We will accept Cash, Check, Master Card or Visa.
No refunds on early departures.

GUESTS

Additional over-night guests are $125.00 per week or $30.00 per night, per person. (Got a big group?  Call for discount.)
Any guests not staying the night (Day Guests) must pay $15.00 per person, which is good until 10PM.
ALL GUESTS MUST REGISTER AT THE LODGE IN WRITING UPON ARRIVAL.  (Required by State of Minnesota)

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

After submitting full payment at checkin, you may be allowed to charge some items to your cabin during your stay, such as bait, boat gas and ice cream.  We ask that you settle your final bill by 6:00 PM the night before your departure.

Customers are responsible for damage. We ask that you leave cabin, boat & grounds in a state of cleanliness.  Parents are responsible for children's litter. 

At Oak Haven we ask our guests not to use profanity. Thank You.

Oak Haven Resort is a "No Littering" Resort.  Smokers are not exempt from this policy. 

Enjoy a late night campfire, while at the same time, allow those to sleep who plan to go fishing early in the morning.   Quiet Time here is from 9PM to 9AM.

Fire Rings are for burning wood only.  There is a charge if we need to clean your non-wood debris from fire pit.

This is our year round home.

Our nice rental boats are equipped with a 28 lb. rubber coated anchor and a 50 foot "easy on the hands" rope. Sometimes when its windy...a person would give anything to battle Mother Nature...and be able to anchor up on that hot fishing spot.

• $150 per 8 hour day (Docked by 7:00 PM)
• $500 for 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday...docked by 7:00 PM Friday)
• $625 for 5 1/2 days  (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday...Wednesday after 1 PM....Thursday and Friday...docked by 7:00 PM Friday)

Please Note: Pontoon NOT available UNTIL after 1:00 pm on Wednesday's (Memorial Day to Labor Day) due to "Kids Only" fishing trip.  Pontoon MUST be back at our dock BEFORE sunset.  Fuel charge is extra.  Rental includes life jackets and a fish landing net.  All pontoon renters are asked to be finished with the pontoon, have it swept (if necessary) and have it docked at Oak Haven by 7:00 PM the final evening you rent it.

BRINGING YOUR OWN BOAT ?:

*  WEEKLY CABIN GUESTS may launch and dock their own boat with no extra charges. 

*  Campers staying less than seven days shall pay a $10 launch fee and $6 per boat per day to dock or trailer their boat at Oak Haven Resort.  Seasonal Campers can launch and dock one boat at no charge during the 5 month summer season.

PADDLE BOATS & CANOES

These are available to use at no charge.  They are for recreational use only.  Customers are asked to launch them, keep them free of water, litter, etc...then properly beach them (turned over in case of rain) when finished with each use.  NO FISHING ALLOWED (they are not licensed for that use).  Please limit your time to 2 hours per use so everyone can enjoy them. 

**  The Minnesota DNR REQUIRES THAT EVERY PERSON USING OUR CANOES OR PADDLEBOATS WEAR A LIFE JACKET. No exceptions. Oak Haven Resort has Life Jackets you can use...just ask at the Lodge. 

 

Your rental includes the use of all facilities including showers, laundry, outdoor & indoor pool, canoes, paddle boats, bait house, fish cleaning facilities, games and game courts and more...subject to all house rules. Boat Launch and Docking is extra.

It is the responsibility of  the person renting the site to ensure that all rules are followed by everyone in their site.  Oak Haven Resort is a No Fireworks resort. All Guests and their visitors must Register at the lodge upon arrival. Proper Written Registration by everyone is required by the State of Minnesota.

We seek Seasonal RV'ers for 2010. We will accept weekly camper trailer reservations for sites 0, 1 and 2 in 2010.   Sites 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 will be sold as Seasonal's only.  (As of 02-07-2010....Site # 6 remains available to one more Seasonal Camper!  Call Now!)

All Rates Based on 2 Persons & 1 Unit per Site and are PER DAY Rates.....

• Water, Electric & Sewer (Sites 1-8) - $44.00 per day  -  $195 per week -  $2000 for Seasonal May 1 to Oct. 1....and $2200 for year round.
• Water & Electric (Site 9) - $39.00 per day  (Call for weekly or monthly rate)
• Primitive Site (Site 10-12) - $35.00 per day
• Air Conditioner (whether used or not) - $3.00 per unit  (Included with Seasonal Rate)
• Boat Launch - $10.00  (Boat Launch Free with Weekly Cabin Rental and/or Seasonal RV)
• Docking/Parking - $6.00 per boat per day  (Free with Seasonal RV)
• Extra Unit on Site - $8.00 per unit
• Extra Persons - $10.00 per person (for those who spend the night-less for Seasonal RV'ers Guests)  Family Discounts available...please call.
• Day Guests - $6.00 per person (for those who depart by 10 PM - less for Seasonal RV'ers Guests)
• All guests must register at the lodge IN WRITING.  (Guests and their Visitors too!) 
• Accurate number of guests is required at checkin.
  All rates are subject to Minnesota Sales Tax and are in American Funds.
  Check In: 4:00 PM - Check Out: 12:00 NOON
  No Early arrivals or late check outs allowed without prior approval.
  This is due to time required to properly maintain the grounds.

MINIMUM STAY

• In 2010 we will only accept "Saturday to Saturday Weekly Reservations" for all eleven Cabins from June 5 until August 14, 2010. (Ten weeks)
• We require a 3-night minimum stay all other times. 
• Some exceptions may be made.

DEPOSITS

Campground - RV Sites and Tent Sites - 50% of Invoice Required at time of reservation. 

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Your invoice is due in full when you arrive.  All persons in your group must register at the lodge upon arrival.  (This is State Required.)

Camper and Tenter nightly rates are based on two persons.  The extra persons charge is $10 per person, per day.  For $10, that person sleeps here, uses our shower facility and other utilities, uses our heated swimming pools, paddle boats and canoes and more. The $10 per day rate is very reasonable.  Those who register a number of guests that is lower than the number of guests we see, will result in a $25 per person, per day charge.  Oak Haven Resort guests are required to be honest and show integrity.

After submitting full payment at check-in, weekly guests may then charge some items to their site during the week.  We ask that you please settle your final bill by 6:00 PM the night before departure.  There is NO SERVICE available on Saturday's until 4:00 PM due to week-to-week cabin change-over period.  The Lodge is CLOSED every Saturday until 4 PM....but is open every Saturday from 4 PM to 8 PM.  For same day delivery, firewood must be ordered at the lodge by 6:00 PM.
